Congratulations to Eden Brown, Nathan Nguyen, Ava Claire Hambrick, and Sophia Rogers for their performances at the 2025 Georgia Middle School State Track & Field Championships! These four athletes had an amazing two days of competing last Friday and Saturday, representing MCMS alongside roughly 150 other schools and over 2000 other athletes.
Some highlights:
- Sophia Rogers placed 25th for High Jump with a jump of 4 feet, 6 inches.
- Ava Claire Hambrick placed 26th for the 3200 and ran a new Personal Record of 13:22.48.
- Nathan Nguyen placed 16th for discus and threw a new Personal Record of 109 feet, 3 inches.
- Eden Brown placed 20th for discus and threw a new Personal Record of 75 feet, 1.75 inches. She also placed 7th overall in shotput, and threw a new Personal Record AND set a new school record of 35 feet, 5 inches.
We are so incredibly proud of all the hard work these athletes have put in to finish out their post-season of Track & Field! Congratulations to all who competed!

The MCMS Faculty, Staff, & Students have begun decorating the halls with Christmas Spirit!!!
Come and walk through all the magical lights and colors and themes!!! There will be caroling, cocoa, and more!! Be sure to get your picture taken with Santa!!!
The Night of Lights will be on Thursday, December 19th from 6-7:30 p.m. The cost to come in is a donation of at least 1 canned good item per person.
