District Accreditation

Madison County Charter School System is a part of the Cognia Accreditation Network. Cognia’s accreditation process is based on a set of rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria.  The MCCSS accreditation process examines both the district as a whole and the individual schools. The accreditation process reviews district policies, practices, learning conditions, operations, and culture, and helps support the district’s focus on continuous improvement.

Madison County Charter School System received Cognia (formerly AdvancED) district accreditation in February of 2022. Thank you to our stakeholders for your involvement in this process.
