Do you have the Beanstack App? At DES, we love to celebrate our students and their successes! Logging your child's reading at home is one way we can reward their efforts! Please see the image for instructions on logging in to Beanstack.

For December, we have a bingo challenge on Beanstack. There is a digital bingo board on Beanstack. Please see the image for more information on logging your FROSTY books!

Students who complete the FROSTY challenge will receive a prize from the library!

Please take a look at our lost and found. If you see something that belongs to your child, please send a message to your child's homeroom teacher. Please write your child's first and last name on their belongings so we can help return them.

❄️ Our December Beanstack Challenge is LIVE! ❄️
We’re kicking off a FROSTY BINGO Reading Challenge this month, and students are working to read 9 books by December 18th!

📘 6 FROSTY Books — each book connects to a letter in FROSTY (title, theme, or character name).
✨ 3 Free Space Books — any book your child chooses!

👉 Important Tip:
Because this is a BINGO-style challenge, students may need to click “Log Activities” inside Beanstack to open the text box where they can type their book titles.

📚 Grade Requirements:
• K–2: Any 9 books
• 3–5: At least 2 chapter books included

DES Canned Food Drive Success!

Kindergarten celebrated Friendsgiving with a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast!

Yesterday, we had our own Thanksgiving Parade, Balloons Over DES!

We want to extend the biggest thank you to our PTO! Today was soup day! Our staff looks forward to this every year. Thank you to all that made soup, sent a dessert, and spent some time with us today. We are so grateful for all you do to support our staff and DES. We are so thankful for each of you ❤️
