Please remember that we attach tags to bookbags to help us quickly know what bus a student rides or if they are a car rider.
Colt families, please see the attached flyer regarding student identification badges. Almost all DES students came home with badges this afternoon. Please make sure that badges are worn when they return to school tomorrow. If you feel your student might misplace their badge, please see the image with an idea for how to keep it attached to their bookbag until the following morning. Thanks for your support as we implement this new safety measure! If your student didn't get a badge and lanyard today, they will get one. We have grown so much that we ran out of clear badge holders. We have ordered more. :-)

2025 Back to School Rally presented by M.A.R.T. Come back Madison County Middle School at 3215 Hwy 72 in Comer to get your free backpacks and school supplies, hot dog supper, and visit our their resource fair. The event is held Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.

Due to the power outages in Danielsville, the Madison County School System is canceling all summer activities at Madison County High School for tomorrow, Monday, June 9th. All school campuses located in Danielsville are also closed tomorrow.

We have multiple applicants again for our Mary Elrod Memorial Scholarship. Over the past 3 years we've given away $21,000 in student scholarships!! 💸However, in order to make this happen again, we need donations. Please share with anyone you know who might be willing to give. Our Colts deserve it!
