October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and we're excited to celebrate our amazing students with Down Syndrome! On Wednesday, October 29, we invite all students and staff to wear yellow and/or blue - the official colors for Down Syndrome awareness. 💛💙

We can't believe it, but it is already time to start preparing for our fourth annual Holiday Market! Our Holiday Market will be on Friday, December 12th, 5:30-7:30.

Our Homecoming Book Scavenger Hunt is TOMORROW! Mrs. Crowder will hide books tomorrow afternoon around Danielsville. We will post clues to the book locations at 4:30.

Please remember-
Only take one book per family.
All books will be outside the business
Send Mrs. Crowder a message with a picture of you and the book! Also, let her know what number bag you found.

If you go to a spot and the book has already been taken- send Mrs. Crowder a picture anyway to earn a Colt Cash and some House Points!

The photographers will be back at DES tomorrow morning! If your child was absent on picture day or you’d like another picture taken, please send a note to your child’s teacher. Make sure you are on time because they will only be here a short time.

At Danielsville Elementary, we know that the school day doesn’t start or end in the classroom — it begins and ends on the bus. Our incredible bus drivers are the first friendly faces our students see each morning and the last ones to wave goodbye each afternoon.

They drive safely through all kinds of weather, greet every student with a smile, and make sure our Colts get to and from school with care and kindness. Their patience, dedication, and genuine love for our kids help keep our school community strong and connected.

Today (and every day), we say thank you to our amazing bus drivers for all they do to keep our students safe and our school moving forward! 🐴💙❤️
