Ms. Goldman & Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class created a 3D shape museum! They did a great job spotting shapes and sorting them into their correct group. Way to go, Kinder Colts!

Ms. Langston and Ms. Ollis’ classes had a special visit from Abraham Lincoln and Clara Barton during their Module Three Book Tasting! Students enjoyed an authentic Civil War era meal of bean soup, rice, and oatmeal cookies. Our students worked so hard during this unit, learning all about the Civil War and the experience of boy soldiers.

Colt twins spotted! Mrs. Rogers and Delilah were matching today!

Help us welcome Ms. Smith! Ms. Smith is completing her student teaching in Mrs. Chancey's 4th-grade classes. We are happy to have her with us at DES!

TOMORROW! The book fair opens to STUDENTS tomorrow. During school hours, only students will be able to shop at the book fair. Parents can shop at our Academic Showcase on Tuesday, February 10th.
