Mrs. Peeples' class had a great first day of kindergarten!

Mrs. Reynold's class is learning how to get along with their work buddies!

Students in Mrs. Mullins and Mrs. Coker’s ELA classes read the book One Word for Kids this week. Students were challenged to choose a word that would encourage them to have their best year ever. They made bracelets with their words to have a reminder whenever needed. Some examples of the words they chose were compromise, joyful, kind, patience, and embrace. ❤️💙

Even the books couldn't wait to come back! Three library books were found and returned to Mrs. Bird on the first day of school. Did you find a book over the summer? Mrs. Bird will always loves to see books returned so they can be checked out again.

Are you ready for the new school year? We are! We have just a few reminders about afternoon car riders...
*You must have your car rider tag every day. If you do not, you will be asked to park your vehicle and go to the office.
*Car rider tags will be available at Open House.
*Your car rider tag from last year is still valid. If you need to add a child, stop by the car rider table at Open House.
*Keep your car rider tag visible. Hanging it on the rearview mirror is best.
*Check the map to see the traffic flow!

Happy July, MC! Here's a remind to check out new information about electronic devices in 2025-2026.

Due to the power outages in Danielsville, the Madison County School System is canceling all summer activities at Madison County High School for tomorrow, Monday, June 9th. All school campuses located in Danielsville are also closed tomorrow.

We wish all of our Cougars a happy summer!

Today was a gem of a day for our K-2 students! Those who earned a positive behavior reward got to mine for their own gems! They sifted through sand, washed it away, and discovered amazing treasures like rocks, arrowheads, and even shark teeth. What a fun way to reward positive behavior!
