Mrs. Whitehead’s 5th graders are young scientists in action! They investigated the differences between chemical and physical changes by completing hands-on experiments at each station and recording their observations.









Today Mrs. Krickel’s class put their senses to the test and went around in groups to smell, see, taste, touch, and hear!






Quick Reminder:
Ga Form #3231 or a properly notarized exemption form #2208 is due by Friday, September 5th in order for your student to remain enrolled per state law.
Reminder letters were sent home this week with students with incomplete/missing records. So please check your children's backpacks in case you received one.

Mrs. Bracewell’s class made cupcakes to celebrate a birthday today! They will celebrate each student's birthday this year by making the cupcakes together.






🎉 Big things are happening in the Explore Lab with Mrs. Holmes and Mrs. Thomas! Our students are diving deep into learning about the differences in friends and getting their hands dirty prepping seed beds. 🌱 We can't wait to see what other adventures await this year!

Fifth graders began their Tribe Challenges this week in Mrs. Archer's class. Students are sorted into Survivor style tribes and compete weekly in competitions, gain experience with collaborating with math concepts and encourage their tribe mates to display responsibility and respect for others.

Today, our third graders learned about the power of taking risks and making mistakes! 🌈✨ We discussed how every misstep is a stepping stone to success.

Mrs. Reynold's class is learning how to get along with their work buddies!





Students in Mrs. Mullins and Mrs. Coker’s ELA classes read the book One Word for Kids this week. Students were challenged to choose a word that would encourage them to have their best year ever. They made bracelets with their words to have a reminder whenever needed. Some examples of the words they chose were compromise, joyful, kind, patience, and embrace. ❤️💙
