Students in Mrs. Mullins and Mrs. Coker’s ELA classes read the book One Word for Kids this week. Students were challenged to choose a word that would encourage them to have their best year ever. They made bracelets with their words to have a reminder whenever needed. Some examples of the words they chose were compromise, joyful, kind, patience, and embrace. ❤️💙

🌟✨ A big thank you to some incredible people in our community! 🙌
Haley Powers with RE/MAX Signature, Michelle Mason and Susan Corley with Stonegate Mortgage truly made a difference! 💼❤️ They provided a Panera breakfast for teachers on Monday. Also, a special shoutout to Anna Grace Cowart with Lovee's Petals and Pearls for creating the stunning arrangement that Morgan Chandler won in a drawing! 🎉🌸

morning car rider
Are you ready for the new school year? We are! We have just a few reminders about afternoon car riders...

*You must have your car rider tag every day. If you do not, you will be asked to park your vehicle and go to the office.

*Car rider tags will be available at Open House.

*Your car rider tag from last year is still valid. If you need to add a child, stop by the car rider table at Open House.

*Keep your car rider tag visible. Hanging it on the rearview mirror is best.

*Check the map to see the traffic flow!

Today was a gem of a day for our K-2 students! Those who earned a positive behavior reward got to mine for their own gems! They sifted through sand, washed it away, and discovered amazing treasures like rocks, arrowheads, and even shark teeth. What a fun way to reward positive behavior!
