Colbert Elementary students celebrated Cultural Diversity Week by completing a special take-home project. It was designed for students to explore their heritage and bring a piece of their world into our school to share with their peers. Their cultural Diversity Boxes were displayed in the Media Center.

We are monitoring the weather for this weekend and preparing for a possible school closure if the weather forecast occurs as predicted. In the case of an emergency or school closing, the Madison County School District will send an automated message using Infinite Campus Shoutpoint, and we will share information on the district and school websites and Facebook pages. During a school closure, the Madison County School System may designate the day as an Independent Learning Day. All schools are sharing more information with parents this week.
