This is my twenty-sixth year in education, and I am honored to be the principal at a place I dearly love and am blessed to call home. I started my teaching career at Ila Elementary in 1996 and have proudly remained an Ila Gator as a teacher, an academic coach,  Assistant Principal, and Principal. It is a privilege to work with an amazing faculty, student body, parents, and community to begin laying the foundation for Madison County's mission of graduating independent, productive citizens.

This is my twenty-seventh year in education. I  spent 21 years in the classroom teaching social studies in grades 6-12. I continue to teach social studies at Foothills Charter School in the evenings.  I have coached high school baseball, softball, and basketball. I spent 9 years as a varsity head basketball coach and 5 years as a high school athletic director. I came to Madison County in 2015 as the Assistant Principal for House 1300 at Madison County Middle School. In 2018, I had the chance to make the switch to The SWAMP and jumped at the opportunity. I LOVE working with all of our Ilagators and watching each one grow. I am blessed to work with such a great faculty and staff.
