Mrs. Deana Bray

Welcome to Danielsville Elementary! My name is Deana Bray, and I am honored to be the principal of our great school. This is my 6th year in educational leadership after serving 5 years as our assistant principal. No matter the job title, I will always be a teacher at heart. I have 17 years of classroom teaching experience and 3 years as an instructional coach. I consider it an honor to have been in Madison County Schools for my entire career. Not only have I taught and worked in Madison County for 25 years, I am also a proud graduate of Madison County High School. My degrees include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from The University of Georgia and a Specialist from Piedmont College. I also have a leadership certificate from The University of North Georgia and Northeast Georgia RESA. I have been a life-long learner and hope to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.

I have been happily married to J.Ben Bray for the past 20 years, and I am the mother of two boys, Ben and Jonah. Both are students at MCHS; Ben is a senior and will graduate in May, and Jonah is a sophomore.  Both are former DES Colts.

It is my privilege to play a small part in leading the wonderful students and teachers of Danielsville Elementary. I look forward to working with everyone who is part of our school community.

With warm regards,

Deana Bray

Mrs. Allison Clarke

After working in Madison County schools as a special educator for the past seventeen years, I am so excited to begin my first year of serving as the assistant principal at Danielsville Elementary.  Every day is a great day to be a Colt!

As the child of a former military officer, I moved around a great deal when I was young, but eventually settled down in Athens, Georgia when I was in middle school.  I currently live in Athens with my husband, Chip, and our daughter Harper.

I earned my bachelor's degree in special education from University of North Georgia in Dahlonega and have since added on my master's degree and specialist degree along with a leadership add-on certification.  My favorite things about working in an elementary school are watching our childrens' growth during their years with us and seeing our amazing teachers work "magic" in the classroom!

All my best,

Allison Clarke
