Girls Basketball: The 8th grade girls’ basketball easily defeated Elbert County to improve to 4 and 1 on the season. Go Mustangs!!
FFA: Horse Judging practice this afternoon in Mr. Lastly’s room until 5 pm.
Color Guard: Attention 8th grade girls-if you would like information about joining the high school color guard, see Mr. Smith in the band room for an information letter. The color guard performs with the Marching Band on Friday nights and at competitions during Fall marching season.
Band: If you are a 6th grade or 7th grade student who is interested in joining band, see Mr. Smith to pick-up information. The deadline to pick-up information is this Friday, December 15th. There are special requirements for students joining mid-year which Mr. Smith will discuss with parents or guardians prior to enrolling any student.
Yearbook: All 8th Grade Yearbook Ads are due this Monday, December 18th.
Lunch Menu: Chicken Smackers w/Whole Wheat Roll or Hot Ham and Cheese, Pinto Beans, Steamed Cabbage, Fruit and Choice of Milk. Chef Salad Bar.

Red Flagged Buses: The following buses are overloaded and cannot take any extra students: 16-24 (Alexander), 16-22 (Fortson), 03-81 (Knott), 15-20 (Layton) and 15-21 (Arrendale). Only students that live on these routes can ride these buses.
Middle Grade Students: are NOT allowed to ride the bus to the High School and get off their bus to ride home with anyone else (car or another bus) or to attend an After School Event, without prior approval from transportation.
