Continuous Improvement Model

The Madison County School System fully implements a collaborative and ongoing process for improvement that aligns all functions of the system and its schools with the expectations for student learning. The Madison County School System calls this continuous improvement cycle See, Plan, Do, Check. 

 

  • See - The first sequence in the cycle is to examine the need. Various measures assess student performance. This data is analyzed at the district, school, and classroom level (See). 
  • Plan - Once the need is clearly identified, a plan is created (Plan).
  • Do - Following careful planning, the plan is implemented (Do).
  • Check - All interventions are monitored for implementation fidelity and student performance is measured again to determine effectiveness (Check).
