Summer Feeding Program 2014

 Madison County School District School Nutrition Department has partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide free meals to school-age children (any child under age 18) during the summer months.
 
  • Serving Dates will be June 1 - July  29.
 
  • Main serving location is Madison County High School Cafeteria 
  •  We will run the Lunch Bus route in the south end of the county with stops at the Colbert Baptist Parking Lot, Tranquility Forrest Trailer Park, Joy Baptist Parking Lot, Neese Mobile Home Park, Christmas Circle, Pindedale Trailer Park, Irwin Kirk Road and the Sherwood Circle Neighborhood.
 
  • We have a Lunch Truck route for 2016 in the Ila to Comer area-- Ila School front picnic shelter, the MC Rec Department by the tennis courts and the Comer Elementary picnic shelter, as well as the Hill Road Neighborhood and the Clover St. Neighborhood.
 
  • Several churches throughout the county will serve as feeding sites also, locations and times to be announced.
 
  • There are no income restrictions; any child age 18 and under may be served.  Food must be eaten on site and the child must be present to receive a meal.
