Criminal Background Checks

OCGA 20-2-211 requires criminal background checks for all school employees at the time they are hired and periodically there after. CBCs must be done in Madison County. This information is not transferable from other systems and agencies. The CBC consists of two parts:

  1. Criminal History Record Information, done at the 911 Office in Danielsville
  2. Fingerprinting, done at the Sheriff’s Office in Danielsville. Fingerprint cards for the school system are available at the BOE Office and the Human Resources Office at Madison County High School.
